Lee County Probate Judge and County Commission Chair Bill English was installed to the IAC's Operations Council on July 25, 2022.
The IAC (Investing in Alabama Counties) Operations Council website is located below,
www.alabamacounties.org/iacprogram/
The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act was passed in March of 2020. $2.2 trillion was 'provided' for direct economic aid to the American people and government agencies negatively impacted by the COVID-19 governmental shutdowns and restrictions.
The American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) was signed into law on March 11, 2021. ARPA is/was the most expansive COVID- 19 related appropriation act passed which distributed $1.9 trillion of funds across the country at all levels. You can read it here,
Lee County Alabama received access to $31,960,355.00 [CARES Act/ARPA Funds].
The ACCA (Association of County Commissions of Alabama (www.alabamacounties.org)) have plans for that money, however. Helping those that were negatively impacted by the unconstitutional government shutdowns and mask mandates is not high on their (the Lee County Commission (LCC)) list of goals.
If one was so inclined, they could watch the LCC meetings on the 2nd & LAST Monday of every month at 5:00pm CST online at http://leeco.us/government/county_commission/agenda.php and witness the harvesting of these 'funds' by unscrupulous agents and actors of local Lee County government employees and local "connected" Lee Countians. Truly pathetic and revolting.
I intended for this to be a short article about the installation of Lee County Probate Judge/Lee County Commission Chair Bill English to ACCA's IAC's Operations Council. With all the fraud taking place in Lee County government I feel compelled to include the CARES Act & ARP Act information so anyone can become more informed quickly.
Will the installation of Bill English to the IAC's Operation Council benefit Lee County or cost Lee County I wonder...?
