Get on the Agenda!

How do you counter Gary Long's "Streamlining"? Place your issue on the Agenda, and then none of the Lee County Commission (LCC) can CENSOR you!

Here's yet another example of a citizen requesting the LCC to enforce EXISTING laws/ordinances and District 3 LCC Gary Long's failure to do the job he was elected to do: SERVE THE PUBLIC, the Citizen.

Having listened to Gary Long's performance, do you think it’s credible? This citizen's presentation is precisely why Gary Long removed Citizens' Communications from the official minutes back in July 12, 2021. He was trying to keep people from exposing the fact that he (and LCC) is not doing his job. As a result of his cowardice, the only way to make sure others in Lee County know what's going on is to get on the Agenda. Nonfeasance, malfeasance, excuses. Shame on Long.

Tell your commissioner you want transparency and accountability. Inform him of what you think about your voice being silenced. Censoring Public Comments is despicable.
